Photo booth or no photo booth?

Victoria, on March 1, 2017 at 4:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 43

Can't decide on if a photo booth is worth a few hundred bucks or if I'm better off putting that money towards other things. opinions?

I'm doing a selfish station. I was worried about not having enough space and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. I'm providing a curtain backdrop, selfish sticks, props, and hashtag for social media. Might cost me $100.

I'm getting one. But that's because everything else is covered. This is just extra. Personally, I love photobooths. I'm getting an open air one (fits 10-12 people).

We waited until everything else was paid for. We ended up with about 1k left in the budget so we decided to get the photobooth

    No. They're overdone.

I've never gone to a wedding, without a photo booth, and said to myself "where is it?" However, we've gone to a lot of weddings and commiserated about not enough, or poor quality, food/hosting.

I love photobooths! Honestly, I much prefer them to "selfie" (selfish) stations because they just look better and not something I DIY'd the last minute before the wedding. And, then no one has to many your station.

Our photobooth was a hit and it's been super fun to visit friends' houses and see the pictures up on the fridge and other places.

We are looking to have a photobooth. It is a great way to provide a little entertainment for your guests and can double as your favors. Many of the vendors we have looked at also include an album for the bride and groom to have copies of all of the pictures for people to write notes next to.

Photobooth!!!!! I don't offer them I just see how fun they are and the cool book the couple gets at the end of the night. Guests love the strip of pics they get. Perfect favor.

I love photobooths! They are always a hit at weddings! If you have room in your budget, do it, but not it it means sacrificing quality food, drinks, etc.

I really want one but at the moment, it's not in the budget! If we can manage when everything else is paid for, I'm definitely going to get one! If not, I was going to do an insta-pix (like a polaroid only smaller) thing for the guest book.

Yes to photobooth. Since your dj should be playing a variety of music, if it's not someone's style that's when I go to the photo booth! It's always fun for me at weddings.

The photo booth pictures are priceless! Definitely get the package that comes with the photo book. Guests left with as many pictures as they wanted. We had a booth that changed colors or you could keep it one color. It looked cool and it was super fun.

I love them! And the photo strips make for a good "wedding favor" and can be used for a "guestbook".
