Photo Booth Favors - Input Please!

K & A, on September 11, 2013 at 10:04 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 13

I have been seeing lots of ideas from weddings where the couple used a clear bookmark sleeve (with a note inserted for guests explaining the photobooth) as part of the place setting and think it's a GREAT idea.

Questions:

Have you seen this/done this and were you happy with the way it looked?

Has anyone seen these for sale in places like AC Moore/Joann's/Michael's?

I'm hesitant to buy online when I can't see/feel the quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think its a very cute idea. Just make sure the photobooth photos would fit in the sleeve with no issue, (I'm sure there is an industry standard or something, doesn't hurt to double check though).

I cant give you a 100% on if they sell them at Joann or Michaels, but that would definitely be the place to check. also try the store Hobby Lobby.

As far as ordering online, see if you can order one? Or do they only sell in bulk?

We're doing photo booth favors also, but they are a decorative frame I believe. Our videographer (who also owns the photo booth) had some leftover from a previous wedding and said we can have them if we want. Going to look at them on Tuesday to see if we want to use them.

When we first booked the photo booth he suggested

www.photoboothnook.com for the bookmarks that we were going to use at the time.

ETA: You can email the contact information the site with specific information and they get right back to you.

Then the photobooth operator puts a "guestbook" together for your copy.

I went to a wedding and they had the clear bookmark sleeve. I thought it was a great idea. You can fit 2 pictures in each sleeve. I plan on using them for my photo booth as well. I'm not sure where I am going to buy them yet but they probably do have them in bookstores or craft stores. I have seen them online for fairly cheap so I may go that route

Thanks everyone for the input! I actually did a lot of research and came across these online and they were the best price overall. Here's the link for all of you who were interested:

    With shipping, I paid $30 for 125 of them. I can't wait!

I ordered frames and then made my own inserts in word. Just did three colums and then used my paper cutter.

    These are my favors

We did this and actually doubled them as an escort card I printed the inserts myself using the measurements of the frame I bought the magnetic ones on eBay. The insert I made had the guests name and table number. Then a cute poem about using the photo booth. Easy peasy

This is a great idea. We are pricing photo booths now and I think you may have just bumped this up on my list!
