photo book W/ matte Pages?

Hi - I am looking to make a photo guest book. I want to make sure that the pages lay flat and that the paper is not going to smudge when guests write in it with a regular pen. I also prefer not to do the common 8x11 size that most companies offer. I'd rather a perfect square, or a vertical book (not a horizontal layout). There are so many photo book companies out there....which is my best bet without breaking the bank?

I actually bought my book that I plan to use for our photo guest book on Amazon. It's a horizontal layout, but the wood cover has a really cool engraving. I'm sure they have others that are either square or vertical. I would suggest checking on Amazon or Etsy, you may be able to find some great options on there!

I recommend you look on etsy or Amazon.com. even consider looking at a couple of Goodwills.

I got my photobook from Shutterfly. It was a 12x12 and everyone wrote it in as a guest book, and the ink never smudged!

I got my photo guest book from Artifact Uprising. It’s beautiful quality with all the things you’re looking for. They do have a pen they suggest for writing in it, but you can order those easily through them or on Amazon.
