Philadelphia BYOB Rehearsal Dinner Spots?

Samantha, on February 10, 2017 at 8:56 AM Posted in Planning 0 12

Anyone planning their wedding in Philly or familiar with Philly have any good suggestions for a cheap rehearsal dinner? It would be for about 35 people.

I'm hoping to find a BYOB place. Thoughts?

The only places I know that are BYOB are bowling alleys, which may not be the best idea if any women are getting their nails done for the wedding. You might be better off ordering pitchers of beer at a pizza place

By the way, BYOB is only acceptable if you are providing the alcohol. I'm assuming you're not going to ask your wedding party to provide their own since the RD is a thank you dinner for them?

Yup, we would be supplying the alcohol if we found a BYOB place.

Philly has a ton of fabulous BYOBs: https://www.thrillist.com/drink/philadelphia/an-every-neighorhood-guide-to-phillys-best-byobs

I'm a fan of literally any Chinatown spot.

I recently went to a rehearsal dinner at Mercato in Philly! It's BYOB and the groom's parents provided a ton of wine and we had the whole space to ourselves!

Giampino's, it's in Havertown so not exactly Philly. But it is byob and great. We just had a birthday party for my Grandpop there and it was awesome.

Nina's Trattoria on 9th in South Philly. If you're looking for more inexpensive, less city prices, I'd look outside the city itself.

If you are in the Northeast & have a small party, there is a BYOB called Tuscany Ristorante on Rhawn Street. The best Italian food ever but a small restaurant.

We go to Cafe Valentino is south philly a lot. They have an awesome roof area if you get nice weather. The food is good, and I've heard their brick oven pizza is amazing.

@sara that Carluccis is my favorite! We live in the city, but we go there every year for my birthday.
