Does anyone have any cute sayings to attach to the cones explaining the petal toss? I can't find anything that I like!

    I found this :

Throw petals of wishes for the new Mr. & Mrs."

"To toss in the air and sprinkle around

To shower the couple so that joy will abound.

When [bride] and [groom] exit as a pair,

please joyously toss your petals high in the air!"

The "petal toss" is a more environmentally friendly way to congatulate the new couple instead of throwing rice which is harmful to animals

Oh ok, so a good idea instead of putting your own sayings on the cones why don't you let people put there blessings and advice on the cones for you and have someone in your family pick them up after so you can read what advice you were given

Sorry about not making myself a little more clear! I'm glad that other people have been able to clear things up! We are using the cones to put rose petals in. People are going to throw the petals on us as we are walking back down the aisle. Sorry again for the confusion!

I think thats a good idea I even like the advice idea, I would just be careful about it because you might not have time to read all them because its a busy day. If you can squeeze it in there then go for it. But I really like the petal toss very unique. My FH and I are going to do a rose ceremony (our minister brought the idea to us) Its after the wedding ceremony rite before we are announced as MR and MRS SMITH, Our mothers would bring us a single rose and then he would say this beautiful speech about how we have came to ware we are today and that we have the strength to make it thou anything, then he would go to say there are times in everyone's relationship as husband and wife when you are angry and cant find the words to say, then would is going to say something in this sort when you get to that point you take a single rose and you place it on a spot known to the both of you in your yard or home to say I love you and you will do this for your long lived lives.

I'm not saying she has to read them at her reception though, I am saying that she should have someone after they leave to pick them up and bring it to their house where they can read them later.

The cones are filled with petals and handed out to guests to toss as the couple is leaving. For those of you who may like a visual (I know that's what works for me): http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BBcCc7p9aVw/SjL8ZGo8n6I/AAAAAAAACu0/lGm9pQnNBTU/s400/Petal Cone Wedding bee
