Does it bother anyone else when they see the creases in tablecloths of where they were folded. It's a detail that seems to be overlooked a lot and it draws my eye in most wedding pictures...I will make sure mine are ironed. Lol

Yes, it annoys me too. A lot of people do not realize there is an easy way to store them so they have no more than 1 crease, after ironing, or none, depending on table size. . . As a quilter I wash and iron 7-8 yard ( 21 to 24 ft long, 44to70 inches wide) washed and preshrunk and ironed pieaces all the time. And do what family quilters taught me, which is the way country inns and restaurants I work catering did it too. Cheapest is to buy 6 inch foam pipe insulation. Anything less than 72" wide, no folds. Over, fold once . . . .With a few tacks or Staples, tack edge to foam. Then, roll up one cloth on the foam stick, Underside side out. Then roll another on over it. And another over that, 3-5 maximum. Wrong side out, so that you can unroll the cloth directly on a table for fast set up, and cloth will be right side out . Unwrinkled, so unroll 3-5 from each foam stick quickly, whole dining room in minutes.. . You can use wooden dowels, but ones at least one and one half inch in diameter are expensive, only fabric store or restaurants invest that much money for constant reuse. But pipe insulation, 6 feet is $1.50 to $3, depending on diameter and whether you buy one or up to six at once. This phone scrambles links. But online, look at Home Depot or Lowe's, foam pipe insulation. And Frost King is one brand. It is like those foam sticks kids play with, dull gray and mold and mildew resistant. And CHEAP.

Once they’re steamed or ironed, you can drape them over a pool noodle for transport to avoid having to fold them.

Yes!!! I told my DOC I really don't want wrinkle lines on my tablecloths!!! She made it sound like that is normal and when you are getting them a shipped in there is no way around it. I was disappointed hearing that.

What kills me are square table cloths on round tables. Yes, I know two squares will cover a table but you can still see the table legs. Round table clothes for round tables!

We spent over an hour steaming my sisters table cloths prior to her wedding... looking back it was an epic waste of time.

I will be sending mine to my local cleaners along with my dress a couple days before to have them steamed and linens rolled to prevent any creases. At least that is my plan. Otherwise, no, I will not be spending all those hours ironing.

I feel the same my attention definitely goes there but don’t know if I will be able to do anything about it when the time comes. Maybe I can mention it to the florist who will be providing the linens🤔

It is normal to have a crease from being shipped, yes. BUT there is a way around it - steam or iron. Does your venue provide linens or are you renting them yourself? If it's the venue they should steam or iron them; if you're renting them yourself, you could ask the company about it.
