Person of Honor?

This will be my second wedding and we are not having attendants. However, I have one close friend who I asked to be my “special helper”. She will help the day of with questions and directing guests and making sure the cake is set up correctly etc.

is there a better term term for her than “special helper”? Person of Honor, maybe? I’d like to thank her in the program along with the pianist, photographer, Baker etc.

Day of Coordinator sounds to me like a vendor. I think Person of Honor is lovely - she's doing all of this because of your relationship and the title is a nice way to honor her back.

Well, since posting this, I have also asked my sister to help. So I’m still undecided! I may just give them a shout-out in my program thanking them for their special help and friendship.

Although I’m not having bridesmaids, I did get some adorable rose gold bracelets and cute hair ties and will make little gifts for all the special ladies: my two daughters, my fiance’s daughter, my sister and my helper friend! I’m calling them my bride tribe, just because it’s fun. 💕💕
