Has anyone heard of doing a specific perfume on your wedding day? If so- which ones?!

I personally haven't....is that a thing? Like a certain perfume brings you more luck or something?

Never heard of such a thing. Is that a tradition or trend?

No. Most women wear what they do everyday. Due to body chemistry what smells great on one person will not on someone else.

I didn't even wear perfume for my wedding. I guess I just never gave it a thought. I had some many others things to worry about that it was the lost thing on my mind.

Yeah some trends will suggest a special sent for your day. I did it. I saw it in getting ready posts for the big day but it is optional. I thought it would be something nice and some brides see it as when they wear that scent afterwards it reminds them of a happy day. It does for me. My husband is picky and some scents I liked he thinks of his grandma and they smell like old lady lol. I wanted it to be a surprise so I took the perfumes I own and just told him I want to buy some new perfume (he did not question it because I shop quite a bit lol) and I took the scents he liked to Macy's to find something. I went with Idole by Lancom which I have worn after and he still tells me I smell good. There are some high end ones but I did not want to drop $100+ for a scent.

I plan on buying a new scent for my wedding day. That way whenever he smells it in the future it’ll make him remember our day LOL

I think you should just wear whatever you already wear no reason to purchase a new bottle of perfume

I bought Beyond Romance by Ralph Lauren. After the wedding it will be my date night/special occasion go to, the rest of my perfume will be every day wear.

I don't think using a special fragrance on your wedding day is necessary. You don't know how the fragrance will unfold on your body. So I recommend either using your usual perfume or not using anything.

I have one favorite fragrance, regardless of the time of year. It is the third bottle I've ordered at www.decantx.com . I like unisex fragrances best because they don't have overly sweet and floral notes. I like to feel the heavy, inviting scents on my body that unfold very nicely during the day. All my friends admire it when I wear Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat rouge 540.
