People Cancelling Last Minute

Y’all, I’m so annoyed lol. I’m six days out from my wedding, and have had three people cancel last minute, after I’ve already given all my final counts, made payments based off of that, created a seating chart, had a “find your seat” poster printed, etc.
How do you suggest I respond to these people?
And thanks for listening to my rant!

I would just say thank you so much for letting me know! And leave it at that. We had people cancel last minute for car accidents and the flu, it happens. At this point it’s out of your control and I would just focus on what is most important, you’re getting married!

It's just a part of wedding planning. There are many posts on here about no-shows. At least your guests had the courtesy to tell you before and not on the day of or not at all. Many past brides would have rather been notified beforehand and not counting no-shows after the fact.

I’m sorry that you’re going through this but this has happened to me at our wedding it’s very annoying I know how you feel . but at least they calling you my guest did not call me they just didn’t show up when they had already RSVP.

I had a cousin text me saying she was in the ER with a 105 fever (I was fine with that, obviously, not that she was sick but that she let me know) but I had another friend never contact me because of a very lame reason: Her daughter's BF had broken up with her. Okay.......
Just let it drop - at least they let you know!! Life happens!

There will always be people who say they are coming but will not for whatever reason! It’s annoying but it is out of your control. I would honestly be more grateful if someone told me that they are unable to come rather then just not showing 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think it would make you more upset to figure out the no shows after the fact.
