Pentecostal Pastor

sebastian, on January 7, 2016 at 5:55 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

I am getting married at a pentecostal church and we have a problem.

Do we get married by the pastor of my church or the pastor of the brides church.

It really depends. Is one of you closer to your pastor than the other? If it's equal go by price, availability, or perhaps charisma (some pastors are a tad boring...lol) Is it your church or hers or neither? If it's your church you could use her pastor to be fair.

Is either of your pastors the pastor of that church?

We attend different churches. Some denomination thou. she is coming to my church after we married as we agreed upon. I think that we can co-officiate can you give me more detail about such an arrangement?

It would probably be best to have the pastor of the church the two of you will be attending after the wedding be the officiant for your wedding.
