Did anyone use/plan to use a shutterfly photo book as a guest book? If so, what type of pen works best? I'm worried about smudging ...

I used sharpie pens, the thinner markers. They didn't smudge at all.

I plan to go to michaels or Joann's and buy archival pens there. I will get something acid free and permanent. Sharpies can fade over time so I want to make sure to get something that is designed to last.
