Peeing in your shapewear?

Kayla, on July 25, 2020 at 7:41 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

Hi!

so this is a fun question... my honey love shapewear just came in the mail. I love how it fits, and I was pretty psyched it had a double gusset for easy bathroom access. But... it still seems like it would be pretty difficult to to go to the bathroom without peeing on the shapewear itself. I'm too scared to test it out! Does anyone have experience with this that can offer any tips? TIA!

I wore mine to my dress fitting and out to lunch with my mom. Obviously I had to pee and all i can say is be super careful because it wasnt an ideal situation. Not horrible failure but not ideal.

I have heard the best way to pee is to sit on the toilet backwards. It makes your legs open wide so the hole opens and you don't pee on yourself!

Uhhh, I don't know if I'm misunderstanding the question - but I just pulled the gusset to the side and hold it. I'm actually planning on bringing my "lady funnel" that I use camping (kind of like the one below) to the wedding - I figure standing up will be an easier deal.
If you end up exploring that option, I will give you the same advice that my friend gave me - try it in your shower first! There is a bit of a learning curve 😂 - but honestly I won't go winter camping without it anymore, and seems like it'll be handy for this as well. ✌️

Yeah, I guess it depends on how big your dress is and everything. I was the maid of honor and one wedding where holding the dress up around her waist while she peed was my primary duty lol 😅
I'm hoping that my solution will put a stop to that.
