Until you pay, you don’t have a venue or a wedding date. If you are set on a venue, and they have a date you want, I would sign the contract and pay the deposit ASAP.

It's never too early to pay a deposit. My husband and I wanted to look at 3 venues. We looked at all of them in the same day, starting at 9am and ended up picking the first venue we looked at. After we finished looking at our 3rd venue around 1:00 we called the 1st one back and told the Day of Coordinator who toured us that we wanted to have our wedding there. She typed up our contact and had it emailed to me within 30 minutes. After a couple of revisions and price changes we signed the contact, emailed it back to her and paid our "save the date" deposit online by 3pm that day. We picked our venue two weeks after we got engaged

Oh ok! You guess didn’t waste any time!♥️😊I love that! I have been in contact with the one we really like and they also do a 30 day hold before ups required to pay, I’m ready to pay my deposit tho! They just seem like the right one for what we want! 🤗😇 thank you for the insight!!
