Pastor absent for rehearsal

Rennyrenrennerson, on September 27, 2016 at 12:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

So I was just informed that my pastor won't be at the rehearsal because he has to go out of town that day for a family wedding. We can't reschedule the rehearsal because most of the bridal party is from out of town and won't arrive until the night before or day of the rehearsal. Is it necessary for the pastor to be present for it?

You can definitely do it without him. The rehearsal is really only to let members of your bridal/grooms party know the order to walk in and where to stand.

I would just talk to the pastor and make sure you understand what exactly is going to happen.

Agreed, the pastor isn't necessary for the rehearsal. My sister went without.
