Salad, garlic bread, mixed vegetables. Did your caterer give you options of what they normally do as sides?

Just make sure that people on restricted diets have options too.

Many people don't eat gluten, or need low carb options.

As long as you offer salad options you should be good.

Hi Desiree! I think some roasted vegetables, salad, a selection of bread, and maybe a gluten-free option would be great! What types or pasta dishes were you planning to have at your reception?

Hmmm, well you may want to have a variety of pasta with a variety of sauces! Sauces like alfredo, Pomodoro, pesto, and bolognese would be perfect options! You could also do a variety of baked pasta dishes such as lasagna, baked ziti, etc! Are you planning to have your food catered? If so, I highly recommend looking into places like Maggianos and the Olive Garden!

Yummy! Sounds super fun. I would have other Italian food, so maybe a garden salad & antipasto salad? Cheese & meat tray? Mixed vegetables? Garlic bread?

I would look into Olive Garden or a local Italian restaurant so you aren’t cooking on your wedding day!

... or risking food poisoning, or having dishes get cold (restaurants will often provide the warming/serving trays and do the set-up).

Hi! FH and I are doing a pasta bar for our guests for our date. We are doing the sauces in crock pots. I have one, our moms have one each and our friends that have gifted us with assistance are taking care of the rest. Pick the sauces you want and put them in crockpots. We are doing cooked meat additions separate from the sauces for easier meat prep and so people can add them in, if they want a vegetarian option. For us personally, those who are gluten free will not be catered to other than salad available for everyone. But ultimately its totally up to you because it is your wedding. All that matters that day is your happiness and becoming Mrs.

    Hope this helps some.

    Cheers!

Bread sticks, salad, steamed vegetables. You could do noodles as well as ravioli. Maybe you could offer meats on the side like chicken, meatballs, or sausage for guests to add to their pasta! Definitely a few different sauces as well.
