Hey guys! Did you put a password for your wedding website? If so, did you put it on your Save the Dates?

No. I don't mind if other people read it--although why would they want to?

I did - personally it just felt like more information than I wanted. I work in reservations for a wedding vendor (we do other service as well) and while as a transportation vendor it is really helpful to have access to the site (to make sure the information you give us matches the information you give your guests), the fact that it is typically one of the first few results on a google search of the couples names made me realize I didn't feel comfortable with that being public (especially while job searching). We did put our password on the save the dates. To each their own!

I considered it briefly, but we decided against it. My plan was to include the password on our website insert within the invitations.

I added a password because it does show up easily on Google (not sure why anyone be searching my name though?). I don't want people to use that as a reason to invite themselves or anything like that. Same justification for not posting details on social media as well.

I only have a password on the RSVP page for now - didn't want people trying to RSVP after receiving STDs. And I didn't include our last names on our website to prevent it from being easily googled.

I have a password on mine and on my STD, on the back side I put a monogram and on the bottom in smaller print I put the website and PIN - ####.

Yes, we have a PIN on the site and included that on the STD and invitations. We also opted out of the indexing so you can't find it in search results. No one has had any issues with it so far, at least not that they have reported to me.

Yes and yes. I didn't want uninvited guests googling our names, especially FH as its unique and showing up.
