Pashminas as bridesmaid gift in May?

I think it's a cute gift, as long as you don't require they wear them for the wedding!

I had a mid-June wedding and gave them pashminas as part of the attire. I gave them other gifts as well that weren't part of the attire. The pashminas were designed for our indoor church ceremony where the air conditioning tends to be overkill! I didn't expect them to wear them outside during any of the pictures, although they chose to because it looked so pretty on them!

Absolutely a cute idea! Not sure where you're located, but even in May, there is always the possibility that there could be a chill in the air! Especially early May. I did the pashmina thing for the girls - we had an October wedding. Had the intention of using them during the ceremony since we were going to originally be outside and the temps were a little chilly (October in Chicago can be unpredictable!) but we ended up not needing them because it drizzled rain and we moved inside. But I have heard that they have been put to great use after the wedding!

My wedding is in May and I bought about 40 pashminas for my guests to use. I am in a San Diego and usually the weather is pretty mild but since the ceremony and reception are both outside I thought it might be a nice touch if someone gets cold.

Hey Sarah! I think this would be an awesome gift, no matter the season! You never know, they could always end up getting chilly if you have an indoor venue with A/C!

For our wedding we are doing different colors pashminas as wedding favors to match the garden area where we will hold our party. I think is an excellent option for guests to wear during the party if they feel like, and to take home and use in different ocasions.
