Party to Announce Marriage

Background: My partner and I are known for throwing house parties and being the “fun” couple. We are by no means traditional.


We are planning to go to the courthouse to get married. Just us two. After, we’ll get dinner and in true fashion, go out dancing. We plan to host a party at our home a week or two after to announce we got married via a video on a projection screen in the background that the videographer and photographer created showcasing fun moments we’ve had over the years then revealing our wedding day. Those that dont attend will receive the same video via text around the same time.
Just curious if anyone has done anything similar and reactions
