Parking Etiquette??

Ariella, on February 16, 2021 at 1:34 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 13

How to tell guets where to park?
Not sure what to call this but, there will be a designated parking garage for my guests to park in for my reception. My only problem is I probably should have included that with my wedding invatation but, I didn’t. So how do I inform my guests where to park??
I was thinking of printing off papers to hand to everyone with the wedding program but, I don’t really have the money to print it on quality paper. Ideas Please, I’m stressed lol.

I'm assuming your ceremony is first at a different location. If that's the case, could you have a sign at your ceremony for the guests to see with this information before they leave to go to the reception location?

It doesn't have to be fancy paper. Copy paper is fine. Include it as an insert in the program's and have a stack available. Make sure your guestbook attendant and day of coordinator let guests know.

This. Also you could also post a sign (like previous poster suggested) at the entrance to your ceremony location. Guests could snap a pic of the sign with their cell phone and have all the information they needed.

I would include this information on your wedding website.

Doesn't have to be on fancy paper since it's just directions for parking.

I agree with Hanna as well, personally, I would list this information on my wedding website to save paper. If you don't have one, then using printer paper is just fine.

If you include this info on your wedding website, then you don't need to print anything out

I do have a website but I’m not even sure that many people are even going to look at it because most of my family is old or already knows the date ect. And okay thanks!

Gotcha. In that case, then you can just do the sign idea that was suggested previously!

Print it on cheap computer paper, large font, white for easy reading in low light.
This is a memo, not a formal communication needing good rag bond.

Hey Wichita bride! Smiley laugh the Petroleum club is super beautiful. Most of your Wichita guests I would guess have an idea of how/where to park downtown, but you can also start some word of mouth. You probably have a way of letting your guests know (phone-call, family member, etc.) and can let them know that way. If you have a wedding website post it there and let people know to check the website for updated info.

There's lots of parking nearby that they'll be able to find if your designated parking fills up Smiley smile

Agreed. A paper guests can pick up is easier than a sign in this case. Not everyone will access the website either. Any leftovers can easily be recycled.

I think giving the parking information to them with the wedding program would be past the point I would include it on your wedding website or possibly email or text each person with all the details a couple days before the wedding
