Park and Ocean

Shy, on April 25, 2020 at 3:03 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
I’m getting married in high Taylor birch state park in November!
We are still trying to work out the details for the reception but we really wanted to go over to the park and ocean restaurant for the reception. I talked to the owner a little but it seems like we would just be invading the restaurant while other normal guest are there. And that my guest would just be picking off the mean anything they wanted...
Has anyone ever has their reception at the Park and Ocean restaurant before that could be of some help?!

    Hi and welcome!

    What state are you in?

It's much easier to find couples with your reception venue if you identify the region.

Hi Cheyenne! Do they have any private dining options available? Or a table in a good area where they normally place special parties?

How many guests do you have? If you have a large enough party the restaurant may be open to creating a limited selection special menu for your group!

Hey there! We are wanting to get married in October and do the reception at park and ocean, too! It took a little longer than expected to receive an answer from anyone with the park or restaurant and the quote sent to me by the event coordinator, Neil, was pretty broad. However, from what I can tell from the email, a menu of options is available as well as bar services. I asked if they would be closing the location to the Public but I haven’t received an answer. However, my desired date is on a Sunday and they scheduled our reception to begin at the time they close. I hope you can get some answers soon!

    Yes Neil is extremely broad!
I just sent him an email again last week about the menu and drink options. Haven’t heard anything back yet.
Was the event coordinator Danielle by chance? Or someone else? She gave me pricing for the ceremony but nothing about the reception aspect of the wedding.
I believe Park and Ocean will close to the public but for a fee. I don’t know that price but that is what I was told from a wedding planner I briefly talked to when I was trying to seek some answers to my questions haha I’m doing this all on my own Our date is a Friday I hope we get some answers soon! Keep in touch!!Do you live in Fort Lauderdale?! Maybe we could meet up??
