Parents passed away, trying to figure out my brothers mother-son dance

Bell, on January 29, 2023 at 9:19 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
So, our parents passed away. There are 3 of us sisters and 1 brother (who is getting married in a couple months). We’re all really close, and our 2 older sisters helped raise my brother and I from a young age. We’re trying to figure out how to do a mother-son dance with all 3 sisters worked in. Has anyone ever seen this done/have any tips on how to do it?

I'm sorry for your losses! I would do something like the sisters sharing a song with your brother. He dances for a minute with the eldest sister, then a minute with middle sister and then a minute with youngest. That will give the photographer a chance to get a good photo of a moment with him and each of you.

I agree with jacks. Split up one song for all 3 of them. Only need about 45 seconds to get photos I'd say.

This was years and years ago, but I saw this video of a father daughter dance : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6mz7B_uLqc and the bride's brothers put together a special dance and they (and their grandfather) each danced with her for a bit. So split one song, have each person cut in after 45-60 seconds.
