Although we aren't order our album until our one year anniversary, we have decided to order parent albums as Christmas gifts. The problem I am having is deciding how many page to have and what size album I want. Our album is going to be 10x10 or 12x12 (not decided which size I like better). One of our friends said they got their parents a 100 page album that was 8 x 10 and their album is also 100 pages, but it is an 11 x 14. 100 pages seems like a lot to me for a parents album especially because I don't think ours is going to be even that many pages. What do you guys think?

We bought our parent albums from Shutterfly during their 50% off sale. We upgraded to lay flat pages and did between 30-40 pages. I think it ended up being $75ish an album? We did multiple pictures per page though, not sure if that is what you want to do.

I got a deal from shutterfly around black friday and did not add any extra pages to the album that was part of the deal - so probably 30ish? They are 8x11 and have a few getting ready, ceremony, family, bridal party and reception photos. I didn't put every picture in there and it really wasn't difficult to narrow down - they don't need picture of me with every individual bridal party member for example, i just put a couple of the best ones with the whole group - stuff like that. I personally think 100 pages is a lot, unless it's just like 1 photo per page or something.

Omg, 100 pages is too much! I did a really simple one on shutterfly that came out to like, 27 pages? I did, however, put multiple pictures on some pages, so I think there are probably about 60 photos used altogether? For my MIL I did a 6x6 because I wanted something a bit small she could put in her purse and show around to her friends, hahaha, but am thinking it is a little too small (about the size of my hand) so would prob go up a size, to an 8x8. I'm not making our actual album til later, when we get our photos from a friend who haf a higher quality camera, but overall, I think the photobook came out pretty great!
