Hi there! I am afraid the songs we choose are ALWAYS used for mother /son and Father / daughter. Should I care?

The song I always hear is I loved her first, but who cares. If a song has meaning to you then use it!

We picked them just by searching our playlist for our favorite “meaningful” song. However I see them everywhere, and I don’t want my guest to be like “Again?!” But I guess it’s not their choice

If those songs are what you want to use, it doesn't matter how many times they've been used. Use them.

If these are the songs you want- go for them. My dad and I danced to landslide by Fleetwood Mac, it’s not common but it just had always been a song that reminded me of him

I’ve heard My Wish at a couple weddings but if you like the song then use it! Songs are popular for a reason, because it’s a great song, so don’t feel like you can’t use it just because other people have
