We I’ll be doing our parent dance to the song “Thanks Again” by Ricky Skaggs

I think the songs above are great. We were going to to a mother son dance and a father daughter dance but we decided not to because no songs fit their relationship, his mother loves him more than anything of course but she didn’t raise him like any song I’ve heard, I honestly feel like I am still raising him sometimes (no offense to him I love him with all of me). But she just wasn’t that type of mom. And my dad does for most of the songs, but he absolutely hates dancing and isn’t wearing a tux he’s country as idk what but I love him for it and I know how he is, he’s not sentimental he’s not going to cry he’s going to just have a simple smile the whole day, I have only seen my dad cry once and that’s when I was in the hospital years ago, he’s just not like that he holds things in. So I’m other words it was awkward and even if I could get him to dance we couldn’t find a song that describes FH and mils relationship. I’m confident you will find something, I think what you’re doing is a good idea!

One of my favorite songs that fits amazingly as a parent-child song is Landslide by Fleetwood Mac.
