Paper napkins or linen napkins?

I would do linen napkins if the plates are going to be real, but paper napkins if the plates are going to be disposable.

We have a similar venue and feel, we’re doing linen napkins just to make it a little more formal 😊

I would do cloth napkins in any case. There are so reasonably priced. It would be strange to have the formality of charger plates and use paper napkins.

Chargers are fairly formal, so I’d expect a cloth napkin and real dishes for the food if I sat down in front of this place setting.

If you are going to use plastic plates with chargers, I would do something to make it look intentional for the sake of decor. Otherwise, plastic plates and chargers are an unusual combination.

If you use a paper doily under a clear plate, it can double as a place card. I would choose a doily the same size as the dimension inside the rim of the charger.

I am doing paper napkins for my reception I simply did not want to pay to rent them. I found really nice paper napkins on the Posh Party Website. Check them out and they have all colors.

I agree linen is a bit nicer but I am just glad to have a napkin, paper or linen.

I would say linen napkins, if anything they are more environmentally friendly

The centerpieces with the chargers definitely say linen napkins are a must. Love the arrangement
