Paper Choices

Alright y'all. I need help.
I'm obsessing over this.
Paper choice.
I want to do something like the photo I've attached for our save the dates. I plan on doing them the exact size of Polaroid photos. I'm thinking about doing them myself and printing them on photo paper on a commercial quality printer I have. But is photo paper going to feel cheap?
Am I overthinking this?
Am I the only person that notices paper choices on save the dates and invitations?
Have I spent the last few months obsessing over a detail nobody is actually going to notice?
Help!

First off that is a really adorable idea!!!!
Second, I think it would go with your Polaroid theme if it was on photo paper but it really doesn't matter which you decide

I actually notice the weight of the paper on save-the-dates and invitations. This was actually one of the main reasons I chose Minted. I was very impressed with their options.
That being said, I think you could pull off photo paper since that's the feel you're going for.

Hey Mandi!! This is such a cute idea! They will look so great as STD's!!
I think photo paper will work fine since it fits in perfectly with the theme of your STD's!
