Panty hose/tights?

I would try it without tights first. Sometims light fabric such as tulle will get caught on the tights and not fall correctly.

I would avoid them - you'll most likely feel overly warm and will be able to feel them with every step and move. Maybe instead, if you want to hide your scars, look into testing out some body makeup? Will probably be more comfortable.

During summer, it’s ok and expected to skip stockings, especially if you get hot easily. Most guests won’t pay attention to any scars or blemishes. But if you are still self conscious, ask your makeup artist to cover them.

That's a beautiful dress. I'd skip on the pantyhose.

Love the dress, I'm also having issues with scars and such and am doing hose. If it's next summer you have a lot of time to try different makeup out. Just make sure you decide before alterations. I had hose on for mine and they firmed me up a bit so it made a difference in my fitting.

Panty hose are awful, especially in the heat. I haven’t worn them in a decade. I don’t think your leg will show that much with just a slit.

99% of the time you won't be standing with your leg sticking out like in the picture, and the 1% of times where you might would be for a posed picture where your photographer should be able to edit any uneven tones. A dress like yours has flow and movement, so nobody is going to be able to see one part of your leg long enough to make out the scars or anything.

I'd avoid pantyhose for the summer, and I'd make sure you test any kind of body makeup first to make sure it won't run or get sweated off and wind up getting all over your dress.

I’d skip the stockings as it’ll make you feel overheated. Beside this, these kinds of dresses with long slits aren’t usually meant to be paired with them. I think the goal is bare legs for designers.
Others made a good suggestion of makeup or airbrushing
