I would really like to use it as part of my decor for my 7/6 wedding. Im hopig to get some insight by anyone who has used it. Is it expensive or messy? Do you want it by food? The pros and cons by some one who has used it.
Have I googled or looked at pintrest - oh boy have I ! My pintrest is out of control ive become a horder of all things wedding. If horders the show came to my pintrest pins they would say this is the worst case of hoarding wedding pins theyve ever seen, lol. In short i think I may have a problem!!

Here are my most favorite inspiration pics ( only a small taste of the hoarding)

Hi Brandy! I have never personally used pampas grass for a wedding, but, I have been to a wedding where it was used! The wedding was a rustic/bohemian styled wedding in September. I LOVED it. I had never seen it used at a wedding before, and I thought it was so beautiful in her centerpieces. The way they used it was in combination with other flowers and greenery, and it looked so romantic! I highly reccomend using it! Here are a few photos I found of pampas grass being used at a wedding for inspiration:

I've been thinking about using pampas grass as well. I really like the look of it, but I'm not entirely sure where to use it. So I'd also like to hear if anyone used it.

Wow! I've never seen or heard of this and now I'm intrigued! Looks like you can buy it in bulk from fifty flowers! This would save you some money and give you the freedom to do what you want with it!

    https://www.fiftyflowers.com/product/bulk-pampas-grass.htm

Sorry I don't have any info on how to work with it!

Hi Brandy! I have seen pampas grasses used lately to help accent florals rather than being used as the main centerpieces/decor! Maybe you could incorporate them to accent your decor like these:

    Hi Brandy,

Did you ever figure out pricing for the pampas and if it was a good logical idea? I am thinking about using it in my wedding for an alter 2020. Please let me know if you find out anything.

    Thanks,

    Briana

Brianna it depends on when your wedding as if your wedding is before late July early August fresh papas grass is not and season you would have to purchase it as dried papas grass and it is a little harder to find I have found quite a few places on at sea that sell it but you have to be careful because the dried looks really Brown and if you get it in a lighter color or eye color pop as you will pay more money I am not going to use as much as I originally planned on but I am using it in my ceremony and my center pieces I found that a lot of florestan my area do not have a lot of experience using it so on for my floors I will be one of the 1st people she does do the pampas grass for so my best advice to you is if you're getting married in the summer Spring make sure to look for it and purchase it a little bit at a time I'm up to your wedding if you're gonna do a lat. And if you are getting married late July or light after AM you should have a problem finding an available to you I hope that helps in if there's any typos it's because I'm doing top type to text so I apologize

Omg this is awful lol talk to text sucks. Let me try again.
Fresh pampas is in season late July, early August
It is not easy to come by but I have found dried pampas on etsy mostly from over seas
Be careful if you buy dried it will look a poo poo brown lol

You can get it white or colored but it will cost more
Make sure you know what suze plume your looking for. I prefer at least 20" for the plume alone and then larger
They are sold by stem or by bundle typical size is 3 stems to a bundle
Florist in my area are not that familiar with it and not much help I'm afraid. I did find a spectacular florist who is eager to work with this idea, but I am buying the grass my self because it is out of season and not something stocked in my area.

Same!! Even my florist asked me to help find pampas grass to use at my wedding. She seemed stumped as all she can find is 15$ and up for one stem. Pintrest is full of beautiful pictures of pampas grass in weddings (MOST INFURIATINGLY claiming it is a CHEAP alternative to flowers) but without any hint of where it comes from, and how to get it. Looking to actually buy it as i AM using it I I keep finding inspiration posts for where to use it and how trendy it is but no one knows where to buy.. if anyone has suggestions me (and my florist) are looking!!

Gurrrl if you want it get it!! I spent and I'm happy I did! I havent had the wedding yet but I just bought from a few different places. And you get what you pay for (dam my mother was right AGAIN). Any ways after buying a onsie, twosie , I finally found the perfect ones!! I just bought bundles over the months so it didnt hit my wallet all at once. I bought dried and they are gorgeous. They dont die or wilt, if they look limp fluff them with your blow dryer!!Buy them place them around the house until the wedding. It's like a beautiful reminder of the big day!! I love my pampas!! And the company I bought from on etsy is terrific to work with!!#forloveofpampas on Instagram or etsy!! Tell Mary Brandy sent you, lol

In California we got wild pampas growing on the side of the highways! But they are still super expensive to source for some reason. I’m tempted to ask local gardeners for their cuttings 😅. Cheapest by far is Etsy and some sketchy amazon sellers from China with no ratings. Anyone find an alternative?!
