Pale girl, white dress?

OK, I'm super pale (think a goth sort of pale, which works out well since I am a bit gothy on occasion), and tanning is NOT an option. How is this going to work with a white wedding dress? I generally don't like myself in white but I'm too traditional to give up the idea easily. Thoughts?

    I'm also very pale and I went with an ivory dress with pink undertones. You said you wanted to be more traditional though. I wouldn't go with white, try looking at ivory, it's a subtle difference and still looks pretty white.

    Thank you all for the wonderful feedback! I'll keep an eye out for ivories and light blushes, and otherwise simply try stuff on and see what works!
