Painting Unity Ceremony

So unfortunately I can't do my tequila unity shot anymore (fiance stopped drinking). So I decided on painting a canvas with us and my son. Has anyone done this ceremony? I'm curious about the logistics of it indoors and not getting paint on my dress or the floor.

I love this idea! As for not getting paint on yourself, you could lay the canvas flat on a table and lean over the table to paint it. That way, paint won't drip on your dress.

What would you be painting and how long do you think it would take while the guests are there waiting? Would the guests be able to see it while you are painting it?

I think the table idea is great (especially over a standing easel)!!
You should probably also lay out a drop cloth on the floor under the table, and maybe have an apron stashed up front just in case you feel like you need it! 🎨
