Paid a photographer & for 2nd shooter but 2nd shooter didn’t show up!

Hello so I just got married recently in the beginning of March. The day of the wedding was hectic considering I just had gotten out the emergency room that morning. But when I had go to the venue I wanted pictures of the girls and I so I had hired a photographer but also paid him more for a second shooter. When I had asked my wedding planner to get the photographer she got him but it was only him no one else and I was rushing to get ready since we were low on time I didn’t mention anything to the planner but I know it was just him because my parents and cousins and husband told me it was just him there. I had went back and looked at our contract and I was suppose to have a second photographer but we didn’t and we’re suppose to get our photos last weekend but we didn’t. I don’t know what to do I’ve messaged him and it took him a day to reply back to me even though he opened it the day I sent it he saw it but didn’t reply. Then my husband called today no answer and I messaged again and he said the thing he puts out photos on is down that the internet isn’t working or it’s slow. He had told Monday I was suppose to get them this Friday but I waited all day nothing no message explaining anything he posted on fb that day but didn’t get to message me to tell me the gallery where my photos are in won’t show the pictures. I don’t want to mention the second shooter till I get my pictures because I’m scared if I say something I won’t get my wedding pictures I don’t know what to do can someone please help me out here?

You paid money for a service. He is supposed to hold up his end of the contract as you did yours. I’d kindly tell that you will be pursuing legal action if he does not 1. Deliver your photos in a timely fashion 2. Give you a refund for the second shooter as you paid for a service he did not provide therefore breaching the contract. Dont be scared. You’re in the right.

Send him an e-mail with a copy of the contract and say “per our agreement, photos should have been delivered by x. If they are not delivered by (date you choose) we will be taking legal action. Also per our agreement, we were to have a second shooter. Since no second shooter was present for our wedding, we are requesting a refund of (amount you paid for second shooter).”
