Soo first off I am Mexican and so is my fiance, he is very traditional and I am very Non-traditional I love the new latest and greatest lol especially since pinterest has been around. Anyways he wanted padrinos and I didnt but gave in anyway thing is we are on a budget and now even more since the birth of our daughter who is now 1 anyways I ordered invitations and got the reception card and response card but did not get a program to list padrinos because of the extra 100 and sum it would be is that rude of me to not list them on the invitations can I just list them on the programs that will be at the wedding or is that still rude? Help!

Can you maybe print them out on a different card that you can include in the invitation envelope? Do you have a lot to list? We are not having any and we are paying for everything ourselves.

"Padrinos" are sort of like Godparents and they help by contributing towards a specific part of the wedding.

Cecij777 why don't you consider at your wedding to give a personal speech to thank everyone who is at your wedding and a very special thank you to those people who have contributed to make your special day that much special. If you would like then to give each one of them recognition for their contribution I think it will mean that much more. Good luck!

You should just list them on your wedding program.

I'm not listing mine on the invitations, but they will be on the programs. We are Portuguese though; so maybe the tradition is a bit different.
