I bought the dress in photo. I always imagined myself with a clean, minimalist and timeless mermaid (Meghan Markle style).I went to 8 different boutiques and that felt like it. i don’t plan on wearing the ribbon.
However after the purchase I’m having all sorts of doubts. I’m getting married in a castle in Europe and I’m starting to wonder whether I should have chosen something “bigger” or more romantic. I’m slightly regretting not being more open to trying something like the Suzanne Neville here: https://www.yourdreambridal.com/wedding-dresses/suzanne-neville-hailey/ and wonder if I should have.
One idea that’s popped in my head is the possibility of adding an overskirt to make this more of a full skirt for the cerimony.
The dress is in crepe. Do you think this is at all possible/would look good? Do you have any experience or example photos?
