The first one was huge and over the top, but I loved it. I wore hoops - I think the skirt was nearly 5' around. I wonder if I should have a more different style this time around. But I love my new dress so much!!

This is not me in the photo. The dress was heavy. I'm not sure what fabrics, but even the lace was bulky and it had bell sleeves that had 2 layers. Mine was in ivory and gold. I loved that dress, but it was just so much. lol!

I am turning forty shortly after my wedding in October.


My first marriage was in a courthouse and I wore jeans and a t-shirt (I was 19) so I have no picture. My parents weren’t even there because I had just went into the Navy and was on my own in Florida.

The below picture is at David’s Bridal when I said yes to my dress!!

This is the dress that I currently have (it's not altered). Not me in the picture. But with me losing weight, I just might have to get a new dress.

My first marriage ask at the court house, jeans and a t shirt, I was an impulsive 21 year old.


This time I was 42...dress was from David’s. Loved everything about it, the lace, the shape, the sparkle, the train, the neckline. It was my perfect dress. 😁
