Hi all! I am trying to pick out a dress for our engagement shoot. I know the shape of this dress will flatter my figure. I'm not certain on the color because I'm very fair skinned (as in light reflecting of my legs could blind passers by), but there are other color options. I think it will look pretty and flowy in the park garden at dusk...Outfit for engagement photos 1

    Alright girl... the struggle is REAL lol I have been told my whole life that if I were any more white I'd reflect! It's sooooooo true! I can't even tan! I just turn a shade of lobster 🦞 and straight back to white! That being said the only thing I've EVER liked on myself is a dark red & that red dress NAILED IT! I really think you could pull it off and look absolutely FABULOUS doing it! Go for dark colors! SAY YES TO THE RED! 🥰😍❤

    Pretty dress! But from one fair skinned girl to another, I would pick another color. I fear the light pink will wash you out, especially in photos! Have you considered a shade of blue? It is flattering on fairer skin tones and also photographs well.

    So don't go with the pink, what did you think of the lavender or the red (in the comments Smiley winking )?

    I'm leaning toward the red now, because I've worn that shade before and know I can pull it off LOL FH thinks the cut of this dress will be perfect on me (he really has an eye for that LOL)

    I have looked at a baby blue one, too (the same dress comes in MANY colors) but after everyone's input and looking at the other options (this was the advertised one), I'm leaning toward a scarlet red one (pic in the comments) because I've worn that color before and know I can pull it off LOL

    I think that pink or a lavender will look great on you and compliment your skin tone. I think the red would be amazing too, and if it ties in with your wedding colors then win win. That garden is absolutely beautiful.

    Red was going to be my other suggestion lol. I actually wore a blue dress and a dress dress in my engagement photos and they both photographed beautifully. Even on my pale skin 🤣. Have fun with your engagement photos!
