Outdoor Venue Near Los Angeles

Amira, on October 12, 2020 at 1:25 PM Posted in California Planning 0 4

Hi! Due to everything changing constantly, FH and I still have not planned where our ceremony and reception will be held for our wedding next month. The issue is we come from a culture with huge families and would need a space that can accommodate 100-200 guests. Does anyone have recommendations for this? The outdoor venues I have seen so far are charging insane fees (like $100 per person). Postponing isn't an option either, I'm so lost Smiley sad

We similarly were going to have a 100 people wedding in San Diego county, but due to covid we had too many restrictions where we could only have a ceremony and no reception. We are now having a super intimate with only our families and bridal party (17 guests total) at a rental house with a big beautiful yard in Temecula.

I have heard of several restaurants that you can rent out and they will close for a wedding but that still will not permit dancing. With so many covid restrictions around weddings it is really hard to still have the BIG "normal planned" wedding in California.

    Good Luck!

Unfortunately, with the newest restrictions from the governor restricting groups of people to 3 or fewer households, I do not know if you're going to find a venue that will be allowing that size of a group. We got married with just our parents in a park (no reception) because our venue was not going to allow more than 50 for a ceremony only.

Hi Amira! That's going to be really tough with that large of a guest list and such a short timeline!!

You can use WeddingWire's venue search to find venues that still say they're available on your wedding date here: Search Los Angeles Wedding Venues - but you'll still have to check to see what's allowed within your local restrictions!

I don;t think you will be able to find something that will allow you to have that many guests until the restrictions are lifted.
