Outdoor Reception in mi due to covid

Oue wedding is August 29, 2020 in MI. Due to covid we are now having our reception outside at a friend's house. Any tips on outdoor recrption? We have the tent/chairs/tables rented. Hoping it won't be too hot. Ceremony is at 1 at the church. Reception is only 5 minutes from church. Trying to think of fastest way to to pictures after the ceremony so our guests aren't waiting in the heat at our reception. Any tips are appreciated!

Pictures can be quick if you know exactly what you want, your photographer knows what you want, and you can keep all the people you need for the pictures around. We took pictures in a park by our venue and were done before cocktail hour was over.
Is it possible to have fans for the tent areas? Just moving around the air can help a lot.

Make sure they have access to iced beverages and know that they can have them. I’ve been to a few where there was no eating/drinking anything until the bridal party arrived from pictures. I’m not sure how formal, but having a few well placed fans could help as well, but I’m sure it would take things to a more casual level.

Definitely depends on your location, but ours was at a barn surrounded by woods in KY. We had the area sprayed for bugs so no one would be getting bit by mosquitoes.
