Outdoor lighting for evening ceremony in December?

Hi all,

I’m getting married on the 1st of December. We want to use our venues garden area for the ceremony and it starts at 5 pm. We live in Houston and we were wondering if it will be dark to the point that we’ll need some outdoor lighting. Thanks in advance!

The sun is predicted to set at 5:20 pm on Dec. 1st in Houston. So yes, I would most definitely make sure there is lots of outdoor lighting. Not only would it be important for safety reasons (don't want guests tripping and falling), but it will also ensure your photographer can get good photos!
