Why would you even consider having the wrong wedding date on your wedding video?? Of course tell him! He messed it up, it's his job to fix it.

It definitely shouldn't be an issue. He should still have the file where he can just go in and fix it, reload the video and send it to you. They should always be prepared for changes, especially if it's their own mistake.

You paid for the service and for the correct date. This is a big day for you two! Definitely ask him to correct it, it won’t be hassle, it’s part of the job.

Agree with others, and I would think this should be a VERY simple edit. It's not like he has to re-do the whole film, just do a quick fix on the caption. Good luck!

I’ve got a background in video editing, this is a super simple change (literally just like changing a date on a Word document) and then he’ll have to re-export—but that’s a task that runs in the background. 100% ask him to fix.

I was planning on asking him but I hate being a bridezilla after the wedding. Since you have that background, would this be rude? There's a scene that's less than 30 seconds in our feature that is shot BEAUTIFULLY during our reception. It shows the backdrop of the view during dinner and it was NOT included in our highlight video. Would it be rude to ask him to replace a scene with those water view shots?
