My October vibes are way up high 🔮🎃 and of course, only -17 days left until the wedding!!! We're starting to get really excited every time we see the calendar. Last night my FH was making countdown to October asking me every 5 minutes, "Is it October yet?" lol and when our clock hit 12am, that man jumped off the bed and started jumping up and down like an 8y/o saying "It's October!! It's wedding time!!!" and you know what? I didn't think my 31 letter project would actually work, but it so happens it has and he's never been more excited about receiving letters or anything like he is now. For those who don't know, I made sort of like a project during the last 30 days where I'm writing a letter of things or moments we loved about each other and leaving them around the apartment daily for him to find, the last letter being my wedding vow read in front of everyone. So far so good, and we're both really enjoying the process. Today he receives the letter #14. I'm really starting to enjoy this now (yes after almost a whole year of planning) and can't wait for the day. We're on the last DIY's and October 10th I pick up my wedding dress!! Any October brides excited out there?

Date twins!!!!

i did a letter project too! but started at 100 days and did little sticky notes around our apartment!

Aww how sweet! I love the letter idea!

We're 9 days out and super excited. Getting the last little things in order has been nerve wracking but I think I'm less stressed out than I thought I'd be.

She told me last night that my countdown was actually amping up her anxiety so I am backing off the "10 days" texts. I am now resorting to random texts that let her know things I love about her and think about as we prepare for I Do. I'm so excited that it's October! Our wedding, my birthday, and my favorite holiday all in one month!!!
I'm so glad the letters are such a hit. I remember you posting about that and thinking it was such a sweet idea. Here's to a productive and minimally stressful month!

I thought about 50, but I have so much in process I knew I was going to give up halfway 😂 Love the sticky note details 💕💕💕💕🙈 that's so beautiful!!!!!!!!

Me too!! I didn't think he would like them that much since it's a lot of reading, but he's put in some effort and actually loved each and every one of them so far. Some of them have even made him cry 🙈 but it's a help so we cut our vows that day short and precise since we told everything to each other the month before. Here's to the best month of our lives!!! ❤❤❤❤

I'm getting married the same day as you i'm starting to have trouble falling asleep because I am getting more and more excited. I got SUPER excited last night when my FH was on the phone with his middle son, because he son was sounding excited and asking him lots of questions about the wedding, wanting to know what we have done, what do we have to do, what the colors are...the fun stuff. This young man DESPISES his former step-mom, and his biological mom has vanished pretty much due to drug addiction, and this guy adores me and is really happy. I love that and it got me even more excited! I get to be grandma to his two sons and also his two stepkids, and that has me jumping out of my skin with happiness!

That's so precious ❤ I rarely have a good night sleep thanks to several health problems haha but I know I won't be able to sleep AT ALL the night before!!! I'm staying with my maid of honor at her house and she "guarantees" I'll have a good night sleep because she can't let me look like a zombie 😂 And I'm so happy and excited for you!!! You already feel at home with everyone and that's so special in these relationships. I hope everything goes as planned and even better, nothing but best wishes and big blessings to you and your FH and all your new family.

Obviously depending on your spouse and what he likes and you like, you can twist it to make it more exciting! I've noticed it's sparked some emotion and excitement I didn't see that much in him at first, and it makes me feel really happy whenever he smiles while reading them. He'll love it!!! I've lived with my FH for a year and I couldn't have found a better "safe place".
