I haven't yet, but plan on doing the same thing! I love the idea of using a poem in there too!

I wanted something less traditional

We did the same thing! Had a free photobook coupon, so paid for some upgrades/shipping (to Canada). Super excited for it!

We used a Shutterfly guestbook too! It included photos from dating and our engagement shoot. It included a few prompts like "where should we travel" or "what should we name our kids". There were some fun responses! My mom passed it around during dancing so the older/non-dancy folk could see the photos and sign. Regular sharpies worked best, the thin ones smudged during my test run.

We did a photo guestbook from snapfish. I made it "our story" for the first 8 of so pages and then had a saying help is write the next chapter of or story with a bunch of mostly blank pages with photos
