We just had our final meeting today with our priest! Wedding is in 6 days!

I was so happy when we found it! It is the perfect picture of what I wanted. I wanted to get married in a church (our reception is at second location).. but not some chapel... I wanted it grand, and old, and BIG! Im just so excited i cant sit still today! lol!

@paris they sure don't. I see these old churches and have always just been in awe of them.. when FI and I moved to Galveston, and went looking for a new church to attend on the island.. we found this one and I knew right away we would get married here!

@laidie- thank you so much! I brought my photographer to the church a few weeks ago because she had never been and she wanted to see our ceremony site and take some notes, and she said exactly what you just said! She said the pictures are going to be out of this world!

That’s beautiful. I am looking for a church to get married in Galveston. I do not live there so it has been hard to find one at a good price. What was the cost to rent it?
