Ours said “Save the date to celebrate the marriage of...”

We nearly put "FINALLY" on ours. (We'd been together 6 1/2 years, and our friends were getting impatient. ....So was I.)

Though a lot of people don't even mention or allude to a wedding on their STDs. They just put "Save the date!"

Most save the dates just say something like "save the date for the wedding of..." Or just have "save the date," along with the date and the city and state.

I don’t think I actually said we’re getting married or anything similar on our save the dates. The top said Save the Date, the bottom had our website and the middle had a magnet with our names, date and location.

Ours were preprinted from shutterfly or minted or someone and said "Eat. Drink. Be Married." They then had our names, the date, and the city.
