Sandy, on October 27, 2020 at 11:50 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 2 15

Origami Boutonniere 1

Just finish making groomsmen, male bridesmaid, and officiant origami boutonniere made by me. I'm happy it turn out good and the fact I save money from buying the real thing. Hopefully there will be a wedding in March 2021. Plus, the guys can keep it as a memory that they were part of the wedding.

These are fabulous. Did you do origami beforehand? Will you do origami flowers for the bouquets?

There wasn't much videos on YouTube that explain well how to put it together. So, once you put one together to see how it turns out. Then you know how to make the rest of them prefect. Plus, most of the materials I purchased from the Dollar Tree. I use printer paper, I purchased from Staples. So you do save a lot if you are on budget. I hope this helps.

Yes, I did made origami bouquets for the bridesmaids. I will post the complete ones soon. It was a lot of time of folding the flowers. But at the end, I did save a lot since I am on budget. The good part is the bridesmaids will keep it as memory of being part of the wedding. And its something new and different to see at a wedding.

These look so cool! Very creative and well-executed. In my experience, guys tend not to save things that women expect them to so I would offer to keep them if they do not plan to keep them because you can use them for future weddings either to sell or gift or as an example for others. They could also be used for decor in your future home or garden!
