We used to order from them all the time growing up for Bible school and various things. We liked their stuff. Of course with any place you have to choose wisely. How did you get a wedding catalog?

I have gotten so many wedding catalogs from them! They just show up randomly and I always seem to get THREE of the same exact catalog each time lolol Their stuff does look cute but I am also wondering about the quality. I have heard though that their bulk candy- while super cheap- is not that great tasting!

When you send in your info to any of the websites like David's Bridal, The Knot or any big bridal company, sometimes your name ends up on the list for Oriental Trading Company. I've had good luck with ordering through them, so I say go for it

Personally I wouldn't order much from them, maybe some things you need in bulk where quality isn't a big concern like tea lights, flower petals/confetti, maybe some glassware like the votive candle holders if you need a ton, but for something where you want a sturdy option, I wouldn't use OT, they specialize in plastic kid's party favors, not elegant wedding décor.

I'm trying to use the principles "less is more" and "quality over quantity" for wedding stuff - it's tempting to want to find affordable ways to complete every pinterest DIY you see, but in the end a small amount of quality décor will look much better than a ton of low-end clutter. Just my opinion, from experience trying to plan a "classy" sweet 16 in high school with oriental trading purchases, lol.

You're probably better off searching the shelves at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or even Walmart for inexpensive items so you know the quality before you buy!

I bought our card box, table number holders, and custom sand ceremony case. They all turned out nice for the price. Of course we're not going overboard on the decor because I don't want things to look cluttered.

I ordered a metal card box that was defective. But they were cool about it.

I used to order a lot from them as far as party favors and stuff. Their descriptions are pretty honest so I knew I was getting plastic spray painted to look like metal. It's cheaply built but really for one night no ones really going to pay much attention to the fact your vases are plastic. I say go for it.

I ordered send-off bubbles from them since they were cheaper than Amazon. They arrive on Monday, so fingers crossed they're fine!

I ordered some bulk candy and a few candy jars to add to my candy bar. The price was decent, just a little less than Amazon, but they regularly have sales so that helped make them more competitive.

I got the catalogs, too, but decided not to order anything from them because it looked too cheap, and not good quality.

I've only ordered party favor items. I didn't have any major issues. Shipping was fast!

I order from them all the time for my kids birthdays. Never had a problem.

I've flipped through their stuff and I know several people that have ordered from them before. I have yet to hear anything negative other than it's your typical cheap made in China stuff. Their candy selection is pretty awesome. I plan to order a few things soon.
