Ordering Ice

This might be a stupid question, but has anyone have any experience ordering ice for their wedding? There are two options for us, through an ice delivery company or Bevmo. What did you guys do, and is there any difference? I just know the ice delivery company has a minimum spending which ends up being about $7 cheaper than Bevmo.

Our caterer is handling this for us. We will be ordering from an ice company. They include a small trailer that you plug in and it stores the ice during the event. That is huge for us. I didn't want someone to have to go pick it all up, drag around ice chests to store it in, etc.
So just for the hassle-free factor, we went with the ice company.

I'd definitely ask your caterer. My FH is a fireman so we are getting our ice for free from their ice machine! Maybe see if anyone you know has an ice machine. You'd be surprised at who actually has one.

Haha this is a good idea too, but I'm not sure if I can transport and get over 300 lbs of ice!
