I ordered a shawl but didn't use it. It was ok - not great but not terrible. About as expected.

I ordered from miniinthebox.com which is a sister site.. I was just getting jewellery so I was not upset that it was coming from China, but with something delicate like a veil I don't know if I would do that.

ALSO, if you do order from them, beware customs and taxes! I ended up having to pay $35 taxes for a $100 order, and they don't tell you up front. It's in small font on your receipt after you already pay.

How much is the veil? If its not expensive, go for it, and if it sucks you can always buy a new one in person.

I ordered my headpiece, earrings and bracelet. They were all better than I expected. I wouldn't order a dress from an overseas site, but a veil should look fine (especially after it being steamed). If not, it's only $12.

I ordered my veil through them. It was good quality, about what I expected for the price. I wound up deciding not to wear it at the last minute, but it was cheap.

YES! ME! My whole dress was from Lightinthebox and came with my veil. I had a good experience. If your veil is only $13 you probably won't have to pay duty, which is awesome. Here are a few more pics in case you're interested.

It sounds like some of the ladies have used this site and had good luck with it . I have found mixed reviews. Buyer beware but maybe it is worth the chance if it the price is right.

FYI my dress was $500 reg $1000 so it wasn't their cheapest item. I order dance stuff from them as well, and their cheaper items look cheaper and are made a bit cheaper and the more expensive ones are higher quality. I LOVED my dress and veil. They both had hand beading that's hard to see.

Yeah... I always have a big rant about online ordering / dresses from China etc. I measured my risk and I was able to accept the worst case scenario and luckily it all worked out anyway. But like I've said, I've ordered a number of lower-priced items from them which helped me to build confidence in their products. I get the impression that some of the products are made by different companies/brands though (like some of the casual clothes have different labels). I seriously have hoodies, dance wear, beach dresses, plus my wedding dress all from this website. LOL. Also FYI Duty on my $500 dress going to CANADA was $130.

Thanks everyone, I'm only going to be wearing my veil for the ceremony and pictures and didn't want to spend a large amount on it. The store I bought my dress from sells a really pretty one that looks similar but it cost $250.

I can't speak to the quality of materials, but I do know that it's definitely a legit site...I know someone who ordered a wedding gown from there and it worked out fine for her.

Oh: is your veil going to be white? It's hard to describe "champagne" or "blush" via website and I've seen negative reviews on the off-white bridal items from that site being too strongly off-white if you get what I'm saying.
