Ordering bridesmaid dresses online - to custom size or not?

The site I'm buying from (Azazie) offer free custom sizing, I'm not sure if I should take this up or not though.

It's 5mths until my wedding. I went to a seamstress for my dress and she recommends ordering standard sizes using the girls' largest measurement. Any thoughts on this?

I've heard good things from people who went the custom route. But I just told my BMs that was an option and left it up to them. Azazie is currently recommending ordering 4 months in advance- just so you know!

Following. Also curious to see what people say. I told my girls they can choose how to order. We still have a bit before they need to.

I recommend custom. So much better as they won't need much alterations, and if they do, azazie gives you like $30 towards them!

I unfortunately did not see any of these recommendations before ordering my custom BM dress from Azazie. I had my FH measure me...definitely do NOT recommend that lol. The dress is waaaay too long and waaaaay too tight on my boobs. It's a very nice dress though and I have heard from multiple people to get PROFESSIONAL measurements and they have had great experiences.
