Ordering a Dress?!

I ordered a dress on Etsy and it turned out perfectly! Just make sure to look at the sellers reviews- if they have hundreds of good reviews, you’re probably safe. And definitely look for reviews with photos! It’ll show you the quality of the products

I wonder what the return policy is? In case you try it on and it turns out the style or cut isn’t what you expected it to look like on your body. Good luck

If not going shopping with your mom/ FH's mom is going to cause a major issue, you could always go just to try on dresses and see if you like dresses similar to the one you're eyeing on Etsy. The only real concern with buying a dress online would be if you're not sure how the style/ cut of the dress would look with your body type. Like Cece mentioned, also make sure the seller is reputable and check out their reviews from other purchasers.

Buying a wedding dress is often a more expensive purchase so just make sure the return policy works for you, the seller is reputable, and start gathering recs for a seamstress. Happy shopping!

Etsy dresses can be beautiful and less expensive than a traditional bridal boutique. I think most (good) sellers will ask for your measurements so they can ensure a good fit. If the seller has lots of good reviews then go for it!

Make sure that the shop has a good returns policy and you should be absolutely fine.

I ordered my dress, bridal belt, bridesmaid dresses and shoes online and they are all gorgeous! (I did have to return about 5 wedding dresses before landing on the one though).

Expect to need some alterations though as you would with any wedding dress purchase
