Been duking out with Mommy Dearest over the following:

after the ceremony extended family photography will be after the ceremony and will take approx 30 minutes.

During that time my guests will be eating dinner.

Then my fh and I will be introduced for the first time as Mr and Mrs and this is where it gets testy...

I say we make our grand intro then I eat because well I will want to. ANd my FAVORITE restaraunt is catering.

But mommy dearest is saying that is when the first dance happens and that guests will get bored with us eating. God forbid I eat at my own wedding right?. I say no bride needs to eat or bride turns into bridezilla Smiley tongue

Perspectives?

I like the revised order! May I suggest you do what I'm doing, when dinner starts we will be announced to get our food, then the rest of the wedding party, then the immediate family then the rest of the guests, it allows us time to eat while everyone else is being served and we probably will be famished by then due to our reception being later in the evening. Our wedding will be catered but buffet style, otherwise this idea may be too complicated! Also my guests will have enjoyed a cocktail hour with hor d'oeuvres so they will be ok until dinner
